Engine 1962

We took delivery of this engine in 2002.  It was built by Pierce Manufacturing on a custom Pierce Dash Chassis.  It is powered by a Detroit.  This engine is capable of pumping 2,000 gallons per minute and has a built in foam delivery system.  1962 carries 1,000 gallons of water and room for 6 firefighters.  It is our front line engine at Station #2.

1960 has been front line at Station #1 since 1993.  It was built by Marion Fire Apparatus on a custom Spartan Gladiator chassis.  The Detroit diesel provides 350 hp and runs the 1,500 gpm Hale pump.  This engine carries 1,000 gallons of water and 5 firefighters.

 

Engine 1964

Engine 1964

This engine was built in 1980 and is still an important piece of apparatus.  It carries the same amount of equipment that the other engines do.  It was built by Pierce on a Ford 8000 chassis.  It pumps 1,000 gpm and carries 1,000 gallons of water and 5 firefighters.  Its primary function is to fill tankers from different water sources.  It served 20 years as front line at station #2 and is now kept at Station #1.
